Cyclone Ridge Hybrids

About us

A passion, not a job

Cyclone Ridge Kennels has been around since 2006.

These days, as we are in our 70s, we have put our energy into the world of hybrids. We have one blue merle standard male poodle that is not your normal hyper personality but rather a calm loving fella, and recently added a second standard poodle, Howie, who is cream and apricot! Keeva (Irish Wolfhound), Stoli (Borzoi), Ghost (Borzoi) and Shanky (Irish Wolfhound) are some of our girls. Some are still young and who knows if they will ever be bred, but they are here right now as part of our pack and we love them like our children!

We are located southwest of St Louis, MO, in the northern Ozark Mountains (we don’t list exactly where, as we don’t want people to just show up or have our dogs stolen, sorry, you never know these days, kinda sad). We have 50 acres of natural wooded fenced land for the dogs to run on, along with a state of the art kennel with its own HVAC system (these guys like it on the cooler side) where you will find at least one of us most of the time. This is a passion, not a job, and there is always a project going on! Our wolfhounds and borzois along with the poodles live in the house with us.

If you want to schedule a visit, please call us, we would be happy to show you everything. In fact, it would be a pleasure! If you are interested in purchasing one of our puppies, we ask that you first complete the puppy inquiry to learn more about you. We will want to visit with you on the phone, after all these are our kids!

What we believe

Every breeding decision is made carefully and intentionally, with the goal of producing healthy, stable, well loved companions.

We are proud to stand behind our puppies for LIFE. When you bring home one of our puppies, you become part of our extended family. Questions, guidance, celebrations, struggles, we are here through it all.

You do not have to choose between unique and responsibly bred. We believe you can have both.

Because at the end of the day, our goal has never been to simply produce puppies. Our goal is to preserve everything people love about our breeds while prioritizing health, sound minds, and companions families can truly enjoy for years to come.
